Inspired

So as we all know I like to do little photo shoots on Xander's birthdays.

(he's 6months today!)

But today I was stumped.
I did a little "Extreme Close Up" action,
but I really wasn't so enthused with the lack of style and cuteness.

So what you have before you today has been inspired by Xander's Dad.

I apologize for the fact that the folowing video is very boring.
Moments before Xander was all giggles and had started to babble.

I think its his "Evil Genius" way to stop when the camera is rolling.

So why did I spend the time uploading a boring video?
Well if you pay close attention you can get a quick glimpse of his little tooths!





Although boring, It does give you a good idea of the "Blank Stare" look Xander has already mastered when his parents start to talk.

Nap time

New toys are great.

(especially the ones that keep Xander occupied for at least 15 minutes.)

The problem with new toys are when you can't decide whats more important...

Its her Birthday!

And he wants to send her a special wish!

THIEF!

So last friday I came home from a very exhausting day of work.
I was hot and sweaty and all I wanted to do was crash onto my couch.

maybe even grab a beer...

But of course, there was a problem....

Someone stole my seat!!!!!

He doesn't even look guilty about it!

He He - its hard to be mad at a cute face like that!

Up to now we've been practicing on laps, so imagine my happiness to see this!

He's still wobbly and does still slump over - so the corner of the couch and my lap are still the safest place. But were hoping that in a few more weeks we won't need the nice padded area and he will be a full fledged sitter!

5 months!

Hurray!

We're 5 months old!

Lets go for a swing!

At five months Xander is really close to siting on his own

(were up to ten seconds!)

He's getting a lot better at eating his rice cereal!
And he started to finally sleep through the night!

I say started because this week we haven't been so lucky.
Why?

Well, Alex is teething!

In fact his first one just popped through today!

Yep - my little guy is getting all grown up !

Part of me is all happy and proud, the other is kinda sad inside.

But oh well, thats what babies do- they grow.

(Thats when they aren't poopin or cryin or sleepin)

But since its to late to push that tooth back down, I guess I hope the rest come in fast, because I really don't like seeing him all upset and hurting.
(sleeping through the night again would be nice too)
