I mean I didn't even get a chance to tell you about the monkeys!

Apparently we got to them at nap time so no real exciting pics to be had.

Zoo!

Xander had his first trip to the Minnesota Zoo this Saturday!

Yep!
It was an official Family Outing thanks to Daddy having the day off,
and us getting a gift membership for Xander's birthday! Whoo hoo!

He was a little overwhelmed by it all, but I think he really liked it!

I know I did!

We started our adventure in the "Tropics"

Mainly cause it was windy out and Mama was cold.

Besides lots of turtle exhibits, there were gibbons, and birds, and snakes!

Oh My!

We wound our way through the jungle until we got to go under the reef!

Here's Daddy showing him the pretty pretty fish!


After the tropics we went to discover the Animals of Minnesota!

exotic huh?

I don't know what birds these are but he seemed to get a kick out of em!

side story:
we got him out of his stroller so he could take a closer look
but then he fell and they weren't his favorite anymore.

After Minnesota we went to RUSSIA!

This is where we met Xander's second favorite animal!

The Leopard!

we didn't let him out of his stroller for this one

We still have about half of the Zoo to finish going through,
but hey, thats why we have a membership!
