Leaves of fun.

With an impending snowfall over the next few days, I thought it would be a good time to talk about one of our favorite fall time activites,

Raking leaves!

...not that we actually do a lot of raking

more like mess making  

Sometimes its just more fun to dump em on your head ...

until you try to get your hoodie back on

Sometimes its real work having to move all those leaves around.

its kinda like zen watching him work.

Speaking of zen....

Prevention or Fun?

For my job, I use a lot of 'Blue Painter's Tape' to help with masking.
Sometimes I need to bring it home to help mask other important things...

I find it helps keep match box cars out of VCR's

and...

And little boys out of glass cabinets.

(for the record, Dad thought this was a good idea)

However sometimes my tape can be used

for the powers of good!

Like Suspension Bridges!

Holloween!

One of my Mom's favorite holidays is Holloween!

I think its becasue she gets to dress me up in fun costumes.

Remember the lion and Frankenstien?

This year she thought long hard,  and she came up with a really great idea!

A CAR!!

So I could go VAROOM!!!

And go RACING!!!

too bad I HATED IT!

 For some reason it really scared me!

She reminded me how much I love wearing  baskets on my head...

like garbage, and laundry......

Yet no luck, I still didnt want to wear that car.
But, I did find that it was fun to hang on things...

Heck,  Even grandpa tried to show me how cool of a car I could of been.

But nothing worked.

I refused to wear it!

Thankfully, when your 2, and its time to Trick or Treat

all you need is cuteness!

YUM!  candy.......

Hopefully next year mom will get it right and make a costume I will wear.

Fun at the Park

Alex really loves going to the park.

And by love, I mean LOVE!

And by going, I mean EVERYDAY!

minus rain and darkness

Most of the time we ride his bike over ,

But sometimes we decide to take the wagon,

sometimes he will even let me pull

However we get there, its basically just a good place to hang out,

Like all kids he loves the slide!

even if it scares Mom to go head first

And since he is such a big boy now, we rarely use the baby swing!

Yep, we think the park is a pretty cool place!

Random Summeryness

I did lots of learnin' & playin' this summer!

But first I  played a lot with my mommy!

I learned to play with Play Doh!!!

I learned to paint with a brush!

I fixed my old bike.

I played with things the safe way!

I also got to play with my Daddy!

When it was hot I got ice cream!

I even got a big boy bed!!!!!!

I learned how to escape!

I learned how to shop!

I practiced my sprinking skills!

Not to bad for a couple of months of work

I'm baaack!

Hello readers! if any of you are still out there. 
I am happily refreshed from taking a couple months off from blogging,
and can't wait to start up again!

But before we begin we should start with some of the adventures our little Xan-Man had this summer!


To get a good start on summer one must first trash the house!

It makes for great motivation to get out side...

for a WATER FIGHT!!!!

something tells me, he enjoyed it!

Of course whats playing in water with out a little SAND!

Somedays its raining out so, so he have to go in and do safe things....

'cause after all, I am a Bad Ass!

Alex is obsessed with my camera,

and loves it when I turn the screen around so he can see himself!

And then he turned the camera around for both of us!

New Ride

Now that Xander is becoming a big boy,  he needs a big boy ride,

the kind with pedals!

But first we have to build it...

and get him to try it ...

I think outside would work better though...

if by outside you mean "inside the garage because its raining!"

Wait!

The rain stopped!

and now we can really roll!

if by roll you mean "have mom push"

soon enough though he didn't need mom

Yep!
He's already off roading!
