Fun?

Hey there big guy!

Wait a minute?!
Are you in the tub?
Why yes you are!!
I guess when your not stuck in water its a fun place to hang out!

2 - the party

Hey Alex, I know its your birthday party today but that doesn't mean you can sneak around and open your presents early!

Yep!
We finally got all the family together and had us a party for little Xander!

It pretty much meant we sat around and watched him open presents.
Fun fun

Here Gamma Q is helping him open a MatchBox car
I think got about 16 that day

But it wasn't all cars....
He also got some cool blocks!

And what Birthday Party would it be with out cake!

please take note of Elmo on a Car
- Alex's favorite things together!

Oops!
I guess we shouldn't have let him play with the cake!

Thats ok cause we have blocks and cars to play with anyways!

2!

Whoo Hoo!

I'm Two!

Ok so I don't really know what that means yet,
But I do know, that Mom and Gramma Darci and Grampa Ken,
took me to the Children's Museum!

There was some really cool stuff there and my first favorite was the ...

WATER!
which is funny cause I hate baths

They had all of these cool tubes that water went through,
and I had fun trying to keep up with the ping pong balls!

did you see that kid steal my ball!

I even got to play with Bubbles!

The main exhibit was the Dinosaurs!

Here mom and I are posing for some publicity shots!

do you see me protecting her!

I don't know how to read, or else I could tell you which dino this is.
I don't know how to type either
but were not paying attention to that fact yet
But to be honest the dino's weren't as cool as my other favorite thing...

Stair/Slide/Thingy!

Peek a Boo!

After the dino's we went to an area just for us toddlers!

Habitot!

Here I am exploring a swamp!

Kinda squishy though

"Hey Grampa, what's that?"

All that learning is fun and all, but guess what I liked the most?

THE SLIDE!
Weeeee!

I gave the museum a 9 for all of its cool slides and water stuff.
Gramma and Grampa were to tired from chasing me to give it a score.
And mom gave it a 6 cause she said they had lots of paint notes.
what ever that means

Either way I think this was great way to spend my 2nd birthday!
what ever that is

Mammas turn 2!!

Well to be honest its the babies that are turning two, not the moms,

either way though,
its a party!

This year we met at Amma Maternity's new official home and it was great!
We had a large room to fill up with some toys and hyper toddlers!

We even managed to get them all to sit in a row for photos!
the trick was cookies

Maddie, Veronica, Magnus, Liberty, Will, Alex, Isabella, Issac.
missing is Mallory who was sick :(

Of course my kid would be the first to flee once the cookie was gone.

And of course we got one with the moms!

Heidi, Anna, Ginny, Margaret, Me, Jenny, Kim!

After photos we got to chat, eat some great food,
and more importantly....

keep playing!

I have said it before and I will say it again, but I am so thankful for my Amma Mammas. They were a great support for me in the hard days and a great way to brag too during the good days. And I hope our friendships last a super long time!

PS. Sara, the founder of Amma Maternity and the Amma Mamma group, who is super awesome as well, hired me to paint a mural for her new space!
