Last Week

This is Alex's last week as a BABY!
Tomorrow he turns one and will be a TODDLER!

So how did he spend his last week?

On Sunday we took him to get some professional photos done!

I kinda felt sorry for the photo girl as Xander had no desire to smile for her, and was far more interested in playing with the lobby toys, but we did manage to get some good photos in, and I can't wait to share them with y'all!

We then followed up the photos by trying to save some money and giving Xander his first hair cut......
As you can tell he was not enthused about this, and although this side doesn't look to bad the other side was much worse and I am afraid to say but my little guy now has a Mullet.
I don't know what I was thinking, but until he learns how to hold a bowl on his head, I don't think I will be trying to cut his hair again for a really long time.

Mondays are our ECFE classes! That's a time for us to go and hang out with some other babies and play, sing songs and chat!
Here is Alex in a tub full of balls with Redford!

Tuesday was not a fun day for Xander at all....
He had to go to the Dr for his well visit.
On a good note he passed with flying colors and was pronounced a healthy child!
For those who like to heare numbers here goes:
Hieght: 30 3/4 inches
Weight: 21.2 lbs
i.e, perfectly normal and average - just what we like to hear!
On a sad not he did have to get two shots and some blood draw from his finger
(I think she took way more than she needed to..
probably so she could clone him)

Weds was not a good day for his mom, as it was his first day at Day Care.
It probably could have been better except that because of his shots the day before he woke up at 4am with 101 degree temperature. We got him cooled down and with some tylenol he was good to go and so we went!
But...... The day care informed me that the policy is no fevers with in 24 hours..UGH! They were understanding that this was just a "vaccine fever" but said he could only stay a couple of hours. Double UGH. Long story short I break down crying in my car and Chris leaves work at lunch to
Alex home.

Thankfully Thursday was pretty mellow, as he was still getting over his shots, and pretty much haung with Gamma Darci all day .

I am looking forward to tomorrow and for whats to come, but I am still amazed at how far we have come in such a short time.

Yay for no longer being an baby!
