Which is sad because little Alex went to my home town to meet all of his cousins, extended family and honorary aunts!
So your just gonna have to use your imagination:
Imagine a very cute, fat cheeked, slightly scowly, blue eyed boy in the arms of:
Amy, Maddy, Rock, Kaylie, Sue, Chuck, Amanda, and of course Gamma Q.
(I know its hard to get past the cuteness of Alex, but I swear there are other people in the pictures,
see that silly grin on the third photo and the crossed eyes in photo five?)
Alex happily slept the five hour drive home to IL, and then enjoyed his first 60 degree day! It was a regular old "pass the baby till he poops or cries" type of weekend.
We did have fun and it was really great to see everyone, and it should be more fun next time as Alex will have more tricks other than holding up his head, you know like crawling! Then we can play "chase the baby!"
Family always seems so much more important when new members are added, and hopefully we can have more weekends like this one.
(Well maybe with out the 8 hr drive home with a very frustrated, cranky, and crying Alexander, but thats another blog for another day.)
