Shots!

Today was Alexander's Two Month 'Well Baby' check up!

He now weighs 12lbs -4oz and is 23 1/2inches long!
i.e. - totally average and normal!

Our normal doctor decided to selfishly go on vacation with his family, so instead we had this young little thing, Dr. Pepper, yep no joke, thats her name - cool huh. Anyways, she played with Alex for a while, making him sit up, lay down, checked his heart and eyes and stuff. Nothing really exciting but it did look like she knew what she was doing, but more importantly she gave him a clear bill of health!

Yeah me and Chris for not sucking as parents!

This is Xander on the table right before getting weighed and showing the nurse how well he can almost hold head up!

We are very proud of his head control, seeing as its really his only trick.

Now he's looking at Daddy with fear as the big scary nurse is about to put the world's biggest needle into my baby's tiny little leg!
And you know that she enjoyed it - all three times!

side note: Chris said it was really funny how Alex had to think about the first shot for a second before he realized that it really hurt and then he turned redder than he's ever seen him and just started to wail.

Once we got home, the poor little guy just wanted to sleep in daddy's arms.
